3 Day Ha Giang & Hoang Su Phi Jeep & Trekking Adventures Itinerary

Day 0: Hanoi to Ha Giang by VIP Sleeper Bus/ Limousine.

3:00 PM or 7:00 PM: Pick up Hidden Gem Cafe Hanoi, walk to the bus bus office, get on the overnight bus to Ha Giang.

Day 1: Ha Giang – Quan Ba – Yen Minh – Middle Of Nowhere – Dong Van.

5:00 AM: Arriving in Ha Giang, check in the resting house for refreshing or showering.

After breakfast, we start our Jeep journey. Following the winding roads, rugged mountains, rivers, enchanting rice terraces, and breathtaking viewpoints on the way. Passing the highlights of Ha Giang such as Posum Pass, Heaven Gate , Fairy Mountain, Tham Ma Slope, and Yen Minh town.

We have lunch on the way, and we serve authentic local Vietnamese food.

Afternoon lunch, we ride to the middle of nowhere, the place that tourists can never see. It is the place where we immerse ourselves into the nature and culture of the real Ha Giang with a 2 hour trekking. We stray from the beaten path, avoiding typical tourist destinations. take you away to remote villages, tucked away in the middle of nowhere, allowing you to fully engage with the local culture and nature. These are the kinds of places that tourists seldom envision or get the chance to explore. During our journey, no plan is the best plan. We cherish the idea that extraordinary experiences can arise from ordinary places. Immersing oneself in the authentic daily life of the locals. By venturing into unassuming homes, sacred sites, schools, dancing with the kids, harvesting with farmers, praying with them and even participating in weddings and funerals, you will truly become a part of the local culture. We encourage you to jump into the river and swim rather than merely observing the flowing water from the riverbank.

Overall, our day in Ha Giang will be filled with inspiring natural beauty, cultural immersion, and unforgettable food experiences. After a fulfilling day of exploration, we will ride to our hotel or homestay in Dong Van Town for a well-deserved rest. The authentic dinner we will have there will surely be a delightful culinary experience, allowing us to savor the flavors of the region and immerse ourselves in the local culture.

Day 2: Dong Van – Meo Vac – M Slope- Mau Due – Thai An – Ha Giang -Hoang Su Phi

Today we will tick off the bucketlist in Ha Giang such as the vidrant and colorful hilltribe people Dong Van Market, the breathtaking Ma Pi Leng Pass, spectacular Nho Que River, before and especially with a 2 hour cultural and natural trekking along the happy road, the most beautiful road in Vietnam. Taking you to the middle of nowhere again featuring with stunning panoramic views, great cultural exchanges.

After trekking, we ride to Meo Vac town for lunch. You will be blown away by the breathtaking landscapes that await you. Located in the northernmost part of Vietnam, Meo Vac is nestled in the Ha Giang province, known for its rugged beauty and vibrant ethnic culture. As you embark on your journey, you will pass by winding mountain roads, lush green valleys, and cascading rivers. The scenery is simply awe-inspiring, with towering limestone cliffs and terraced rice fields that stretch as far as the eye can see. The local communities that you will encounter along the way are just as fascinating as the landscapes. Meo Vac is home to various ethnic minority groups, such as the H’Mong and Dao people. Their traditional way of life and colorful clothing add to the charm of this region.

Our adventure takes us back to Ha Giang City before we transfer to Thung Nguyen Village for a homestay experience, where you’ll be warmly welcomed by your local family. Enjoy dinner prepared by them, allowing you to taste the region’s home-cooked delights.

 

Day 3: Full Day Rice Terrace Trekking in Hoang Su Phi – Hanoi

Morning:

Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the homestay before embarking on a trekking adventure towards Thung Nguyen. Navigate through enchanting rice terraces, bamboo forests, rivers, and cascades, concluding at San Tuyet Tea Plantation, the oldest tea farm in Vietnam.

Afternoon:

Lunch: Enjoy a packed lunch at the tea plantation, prepared by local families.

Continue trekking through diverse terrains, taking in breathtaking landscapes that provide plenty of photo opportunities.

Conclude Trekking: Finish your trek by 3:00 PM and enjoy a short ride to Bac Quang Town.

Evening:

After freshening up, relax and share memories with your fellow adventurers over a farewell dinner at a local restaurant.

Late Night: Board your sleeper bus for the journey back to Hanoi, filled with memories of your thrilling Ha Giang Jeep Adventure, rich cultural experiences, and breathtaking landscapes.

20:00 get on the overnight bus to Hanoi.
